We are riding thru North Carolina on our way to Virginia to see the Grandkids. Only have time for one route,
So question,
Do we ride the Rattler? or Tail of the Dragon"
Opinions?
I drove thru Chicago once on my RT-S on the Freeways coming from South Dakota going to Michigan. Never again. I will take the side streets and go around. It was a Saturday, and very scary.
When you ask for people's opinions, you're going to get just that. And they will vary tremedously. what really matters is what you like, and what you're looking for. If you're seeking the thrill...
Oh my, I was looking at Lamont's join date, not the date of the post. Answered my own question. :)
Does this answer still apply to the 2018 F3 Limited?
Ok, I waited for three years on this post, time to start it over again. lol
Don't know about where you live, but I go thru Geico, 2 new 2018 spyders, RT and F3 Limited. Fully covered $26 per month total for both.
6'2" 370. I had a 2016 RT-S that I put the Ultimate Tall boy with backrest on it and absolutely loved it. Did several 2000 mile trips on it, really comfortable and no back aches with it. Traded the...
Wife and I are coming, we're at the super 8
Peoples perception of the spyder is more how old you have to be to "start" riding one. LOL
Ok, try to top this one. Bought a brand new 2016 RT-S, got it home, and ordered some kuryakin hand grips to put on it. Didn't realize that I bought the wrong grips and just followed the...
skull and crossbones are mine.
I don't know about a specific cleaner, but I did purchase the Brush Hero, and with the soft bristled brush includded works awesome on my chrome wheels.
I have a set of stainless web boards for an RT model Spyder. I have the Rider boards, the passenger boards and the stainless medallion style brake Pedal. These fit the RT model only. They will fit...
I had the tailgunner on my 16 RTS, liked the sound but could never get the spin to work correctly, always had to keep oiling it. Now it doesn't look like you can buy them for the spyder anymore. ...
I just received mine also, but have to wait until spring to try them out.
My wife and I will be there. Two more Spyders :)
Motorcycle Daves are good and very inexpensive compared to what's out there. But just as an option you can also get similar but in different colors to match your bike for around 19 each.
Should have 2 Keys and 2 plastic key holders. Spyder keys do not have holes in them, but they do make key holders that do and are relatively cheap.
So I purchased a new all in one dual HD exhaust chrome edition from Spyder1Attitude. Waited for over 1 month for it to be delivered to my dealership to be installed. It's winter here, so trailered...
I would go with the F4 customs 25 inch windshield. I have that on my 2018 F3 Limited, and does exceptionally well blocking the wind. Just my opinion.
Not hard, but precision needed. I had my mechanic's install it for that reason.
Drilling is required. Two in the Frunk, and two in the frame underneath.
In my profile picture you can see them on my wife's black rt.
Canamspyderaccessories.com.
$125 new. Two small wood blocks you screw on. One on bottom one on top. Then grates screw into the blocks. Easy installation.
For sale: Rivco Chrome bumper bar for RT 2012-2017. New $349. Asking $225 plus shipping.
Zumo Garmin, case, docking kit from BRP. Garmin has a small scratch on...
My problem is I do all that, but don't wear a helmet. out there for everyone to see. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
I have a Dual HD all in one exhaust in chrome on order from Spyder1attitude. Cannot wait for it to arrive for my F3 limited. First saw them at the 3 wheeler rally in Deadwood this year.
Love our Spyders have two, 2018 F3 limited, and 2018 RT. Traded in two for these, 2015 RT and 2016 RTS. Love em. Live in South Dakota, just waiting for BRP to install heaters so we can ride year...
