I updated my Zumo 660, which came with the '13 RTL, in May this year and it now has all the new streets update. At least here in northern Utah. No need for a new Garmin yet.
Cheers!
The only thing to watch for is the API Donut with label saying "RESOURCE CONSERVING", most oils with viscosity of xW30 or less will have that since they have friction modifier(s) added. Oils with...
Reading here for the last couple of weeks, Seems to me that Can-Am dealerships get less and less friendly in their Service department. They charge a pretty penny for the work they do on these...
I use Mobil1 5W-40 for all my motorcycles, used that on the '13 Spyder RTL too so far so good. Wally world has 5qt jug for about $25.
Cheers!
It is a very tight fit, according to the specs, I would not do that. Chances are you will scratch your fender(s) or wheel(s.) Not too long ago I had to bring my Spyder RTL, not running at the time,...
It might be that the 256 gb is too big for the XT to recognize. I know the Zumo 660 is limit 32gb sd card.
Me too. Great Minds think alike.
Check the battery post bolts and make they are tight. also check other ends of battery cables.

$150 for a new Yuasa battery is cheap insurance, peace of mind is priceless.

Interesting but not uncommon. For every update version of Windows in the last decade or so, some applications will work better whereas some other just stop working altogether or erratically. I'm not...
RECREATIONAL also means it's a TOY and the owner has money to burn.....or so the dealers think.
That cable does not look like it belongs to a Spyder. I'm not 100 percent sure but it looks like a cable to go from an old camcorder to a Firewire connector, decades old video tech. Hang it in your...
Paul, Remember I had a similar problem with my '13 RT-L, it was stuck in 1st gear. Tried this and tried that but finally brought to Young Powersports and they had to reset the TCM to fix the problem....
On our '13 RT-L, we share the Spyder, my wife laughs at me when I use two-hand procedure to shift it to Reverse. Right thumb on the R button, left index finger to hit the - paddle. I try to user left...
People need to mind their own businesses, not where I'm going. Therefore, I do Not use turn signals.

You realize that your Mini Cooper had BMW designers involved? That's why so fun to drive, never a dull moment.

Tarp is for temporary cover only and it might scratch your paint. For your Spyder I would get a cover made of 300 denier fabric by one of reputable companies to cover it up, long term or short term....
You hit the +side when Captain Kirk commands “ Shields Up!”

The Vtwin engine on 2013 RTL is a dry sump design so there are two places to drain oil, I know, it's a pain. Also the way they design the frame, it's really really hard to get to the transmission...
As far as I can tell, the answer is no, you cannot connect your smart phone to your 2013 RT since the RT does not have bluetooth. I have 2013 RT-L and it only has the old style 30-pin iPod connector...
I saw that Spyderpops heat blocker a few weeks ago but haven't really looking into it. Before I saw the heat blocker, I used a piece of thick plastic to cover the lower outlet to see if it helps with...
I think it's about time for somebody to make massage seats for the Spyder, and heated too.
Cheers!
I think a dab of grease on the rubber belt would neither hurt nor help.
Cheers!
I had similar problem with my 2013 RTL - vtwin SE5, it down shift at red-light then stuck on 1st gear, but there was no error code. I got it - flat bed - to a dealer service shop and they just had to...
I would only believe info from true helmet makers/researchers. And you know who they are.
Thanks to freedom of speech in this country, anybody can say anything they want, and people willing to say...
Another 710 thread.
Rubber valve stems will get brittle and crack, It happened to me on a 4year old stem.
Aluminum stems get corroded. I don't really think ones better than the other.
if you have TPMS on your car(s),...
On my Rebel 1100, Honda use 90 degree alloy valve stems, easier to check tire pressure and add nitrogen in the tires, (I use 78% nitrogen in all my tires.) I couldn't ask for more.
