I also have sleep apnea. I have obstructive vice central. I'm at 230 lbs and 6ft tall. I have a CPAP machine from the VA which works great! It also has the humidifier which really helps...

My TriAxis has been perfect but I only have about 1K miles on it. I've adjusted it several times and it has stayed tight every time.
