Jim...thanks for the shout out...it hit hard in our neighborhood, a lot of damage and a few homes destroyed but we suffered no damage or injuries. The random nature of the storm is unbelieveable....
Hi Jim,
Nice to hear from you.
I hope we can get together come Spring. The spousal unit is having knee surgery early on 4/16 so that kinda wipes out Spyderfest this time. If she bounces back,...
I'm still looking for any Ryders in the Springfield/Branson Tri-Lakes area...hello, you out there?

I've had a couple of incidents lately of my SE-5's Engine Light coming on at a stop, then when accelerating it wouldn't upshift, I'd shift again then it would go to the next gear and the Engine Light...
I have the Evo sway bar, it helps a lot. When you say RT shocks, are you talking all three?
Thanks,

:yikes: Got your attention, huh !
I need a set of aftermarket shocks for my '08 RS. Me and the spousal unit are going to be doing some serious two-up riding and I would like to get yall's learned...
Jim,
I'm really bummed that I couldn't meet up with you guys. We had a community garage Saturday and I tore up my back moving stuff...I couldn't even cage it over. I trust you all had a good time...
I'll be there for the brunch Sunday morning...10AM, right?

I went for a putt a coupla days ago...while getting on the freeway (2008 SE-5) it wouldn't upshift from 3rd to 4th, something flashed on the IP, when I upshifted again, no problem and nothing of the...
If you bring the Spyder, and want to ride together, let me know.

Yesterday I was in my cage cruising across the Taneycomo Bridge here in Branson and passing me going the other way was a lady on a silver RS with a guy on a bike behind her...I don't know who is...

As a former West Coast Spyders member I can attest to how awful it was when that group's site was hacked...It killed communications which affected participation, growth, etc. I support Lamonster's...
We might be able to host a little get together at our place in October...it depends on our travel schedule...I'll keep you posted.

I walk with a cane, kinda like three legs...and, I've been riding trikes for years and now the Spyder, I'm always on three wheels. Hence the nickname...

Check out Lamonster's post on the big board about his idea. I think the MO GANG could come up with quite a few ideas for ride destinations.
I'm up for creating a few spots here in the Branson/Tri...
Thanks for all of the great replies. We're still unpacking and getting settled in so I won't be making the meet on 6/4.
However, if you find yourself in the Branson area, please give me a heads...
Well, we finally made our move back to Branson. We left about 14 years ago and am glad to be back. Unfortunately, we made our move on the same weekend as the last Spyderfest...so, I wasn't able to...
Well, we've finally moved back to Branson, MO. Today it is bittersweet given the tragedy in Joplin. As neighbors, we will do everything in our powers to help them recover.
I'm looking for some...
Seat time will solve it. I had the same intial reaction as your's, it's long forgotten. Ride on!

My two cents worth...I had similar issues, all cured now with the ground strap and gear position sensor fixes. Good luck.

See if you can contact TJ on the West Coast Spyders board. He did an awesome rebuild of a Hindle. If I remember right, he spec'd the screws, packing used, paint used, etc. I don't see it in the "How...
I'm off to Wally World right now. I hope they have it in red.

RJB,
I've owned two Honda Valkyrie trikes before I got my Spyder. Trikes are unwieldy beasts...subpar brakes for the most part, oversteer. Spyders, by most measures, are vastly superior in...
I am jacked up!! My spousal unit, Joanie, and I, have an accepted offer on a home in Branson, MO. If it all plays out as hoped, we'd love to host a get together or something as part of Spyderfest...
I've had my ICSI stuff for over a year. It still is solid as a rock, looks brand new and get a lot of complements. It's hands down, the best aftermarket product I've ever purchased, and I've been...
Just got mine home. The steering is a lot less "notchy", it also seems a bit quicker steering...anyone else sense that?

Just found this thread...doh! Add me to the San Diego bunch. I reside in O'Side. Check out the WCS site and join in any of the East/North County events.

This has probably been asked and answered before but I can't find it. At what mileage did you replace the rear tire? Thanks in advance for your response.
