Here you go: Got my wife's Ryker wheel nut recall done yesterday at the dealer. She and I plan to take a ride this afternoon in crisp 64 degree weather
Winter usually slows down posting. Here in Iowa we are about 2-3 months from riding season. With all the rallies that were cancelled last year and the uncertainty for this year still happening, I think there is just less to discuss, until we can start planning trips for the summer. All of my travel plans are on hold until the pandemic situation becomes clearer for the summer. Hoping to do some traveling on the Spyder this summer..
We are having a really (unusual for East Texas) snow shower today. It will likely be gone tomorrow and the forecast is for the 60's here by mid-week. I'm itching to try out my new rear tire.
I'm not sure where in AZ you are Jeff but my daughter and her family are in Camp Verde and it is 54 there.
Yes, the last week has been very slow. Some bad things happening all over. Glad we have our Spyders, and this group of friends to talk with.
Sunday was first ride of the New Year. Temp 46 deg but I could not pass up the chance for some clear sky and sun.
I removed the previous post.

I lurk on the forums each day, and make sure to visit the Ryker in the garage each day as well. But soon the spring is here, as soon as it is warmer than 5C / 41F and no snow/ice on the roads I will bring her back out :)
Once the cold climate ryker riders are out of hibernation Im sure this forum section activity will pick up again.
I was out for a few short rides over the weekend. I was able to put about 100 miles on the Spyder total. The temp hit an unseasonably high for NE Ohio of 39! Tomorrow and Thursday is calling for a high of 43. Might have to break out the shorts. ;)
I see alot of posts about Rykers at the zillion FB pages.
I'm here - sending you a pm actually.
I'm snowed in today in Northern Nevada.
Hey Krafcik, I responded to your PM and welcome to the forum. I guess I spend more time on this forum when the weather is bad. When the weather is good I leave my computer home.
Took a 60 mile ryde two days ago to the northern reaches of the Valley of the Sun. Temp was lower 60s. AZ got a good amount of snow last week, you can see some remnants of it on the mountains behind my Ryker. This is as close as I care to be to snow, unless I am skiing on it
I`m here in Austria .. waiting for warmer weather :dontknow:
Tomorrow the SPYDER/RYKERS Riders of Lane County Oregon will be doing a 200+ mile ride in lieu of “watching the game”. Route from Eugene to Florence (on the coast) to Waldport (on the coast) to Corvallis back to Eugene. Lots of twisty roads with nice scenery. Pictures to follow.
Guess I'm just lucky when it comes to traffic. I live in a rural area and ride mostly on dirt back roads so it's nothing for me to go on a 2 hour ride on any given day and never see a car. My biggest concern is getting too far back on a dirt road (where I haven't seen any sign of civilization in 30 minutes) and worrying about a breakdown or getting stuck and somebody getting back there to get me out! Hasn't happened yet but still in the back of my mind. Oh well, just makes it more of an adventure. Have fun and enjoy the day.
