When was the last time you flushed your brake fluid? Sounds like your calipers are binding and may need to be rebuilt or replaced.
Depending on all the facts....last inspected, fluid flushed, pad conditions mileage etc. The best would be to remove the calipers and check that the pistons are free of debris grim etc that is not allowing them to retract when pressure is realeased. Quick check would be to turn the wheels so you can tap on the calipers and see it they realease when locked.
Just brought bike 4 months ago only 6900 mile on it . was inspected March . tapping on it want work . let it set and it will release
Check rear wheel if locked up when fronts are locked I would suspect the master cylinder not allowing fluid to return. The fluid probability has never been changed. New fluid and bleeding might help. Bleeding will be tough if master cylinder is gummed up.
If you open a front bleed valve when locked does it release immediately as a small volume of fluid is expelled?
I had a brake line fail on my truck, it behaved the same way.
Going to rebuild brake system this weekend . Hope it solves the problem. Will let know
