Got an email today that my new RTL should be at set-up but nobody wrote back to confirm whether it is or is not.
Now the long holiday weekend is here so guess I'll have to be patient, again.

Just wait until it gets there with expired temp tags and you can’t ride it either

After all of this we better get some pictures!!!!!:congrats::popcorn:
Believe it, there will be pictures - when the delivery gets it here.
i just made my first payment on an invisable Spyder. i am learning a good lesson. i will never do this again. they don't appear to have their poop in a group. they need to know the art of communication
Quote: Should I have bit the bullet and bought a 2020? Maybe but the $6-7k difference in price made the choice obvious to me.
Bob - Besides the cost aspect, what thoughts swung you over to the 2019 versus the 2020 ultimately? I'm new to all this and been thinking about getting a Can-Am RT Limited but also have no motorcycle experience...hoping to get that soon! I have an opportunity to get either a 2020 RT Limited Red/Dark or a 2019 Gray RT Limited SE6 but with the cash savings similar to what you mentioned. I'm blessed to afford either option, just don't want to waste money if not worth it since both are new. Love to hear your thoughts as it seems the 2020 version is well-received with the updates I can see!!
Thanks...Kent
I was given a delivery date today, but I had to bypass my salesman to get it. The Spyder left the dealership on a truck last Friday, and might be delivered this weekend, or by next Tuesday at the latest. As a former long-haul trucker, I definitely understand that some flexibility is inherent.
So, finally some good news. Hope it plays out as stated, but will let you know.
:ohyea:
Hi Kent,
I won't pretend it was a long drawn-out process. I'm within a few years of retiring, so the cost factor is what won out. I'm trying to eliminate debts by the time I give up working. I expect this will very likely be the last motorcycle I buy. So in that sense, even though I'm a long-term Harley owner and rider, the Spyder - especially with the rebate - made far better economic sense. To get the same level of equipment at HD I would have had to buy a Tri-Glide at nearly twice the price of the Spyder. I'm no longer able to trust myself on two wheels.
I've owned a 2014 ST for the last two years, and I definitely enjoy it. I wanted to move up to both the 1330 and a touring model. I don't like how the F3 fits me. By all accounts the 2020 RT is a better machine, but I would have had to finance a part of it given the price difference. In addition, I don't like the 2020 chrome package as much as I do the 2019 version, and I'm not a fan of the dark edition.
So that's my story; money and looks won out. Sounds kind of like a marriage proposal doesn't it?
Best to you,
Bob

My new RTL arrived today from iMotorsports. Despite some bumps, the trike arrived a bit ahead of the promise date (Monday) and everything appears to be perfect other than a bit of road dust.
:2thumbs:
Thanks to everyone here who's been following along and for the words of encouragement. Now comes the honeymoon period, but everything looks good today.
Here's a couple of photos. I need to change my signature next!
I received my new Spyder on Friday. Everything is in order but did not get my owners manual. Everything went fine after I contacted the owner Tim Walters. Once he got involved everything went as smooth as silk. I think the salespeople were interested until they got the commitment then it all went south. I still do not understand the total lack of communication. If you deal with them, I would only deal with the owner.
:congrats::ohyea: Very nice, and now the farkling will begin!!!:2thumbs::shemademe_smilie: Have Fun!!!!
Looked today and noticed that iMotorsports has posted my former 2014 ST (trade-in) on their website. They did a nice job with the pictures. It's been a good machine, and it still looks almost new. I put a lot of time into getting it shined up and presentable. I'd miss it if it weren't for the new RTL in the garage...
Thanks to everyone for their interest and responses to this thread!
