Thank You Ron, You have helped me keep my sanity, you and Valium, thru this whole ordeal.
Here is to hoping for a timely end to all of this BS and back to racking up miles, under her own power.
For all of the suggestions and ideas on what to check on my ailing Spyder. Between the 2 posts about my electrical issues, there have been 4723 views and 109 posts. I really hope the people viewing these posts dont let this issue I have change thier minds in any way about possible Spyder purchases. :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:
Going for a ride today on my Fuji since it is always ready and the weather down here is great.
It did changed [discreet] my mind...

Ron, once again you have hit it right on the head.
PS.......The clock is ticking down quickly. It sucks missing Biketoberfest AGAIN.
The wife and I just got back from Biketoberfest and it was really crowded at the racetrack
and Destination Daytona. We got to demo a 2012 Goldwing trike but couldn't find the
Spyders anywhere so didn't get to check them out, but the Goldwing trike was fantastic.
The guys at CSC just let us take it out by ourselves as long as we wanted, we gave it a good test
ride and was very impressed with everything about it!
after many years working all types motorcyles & motors elect gas de, you shoud be aware any thing with memory has current draw even dirty tops on batteries have very small cureeent draw good luck jpat 2010 rs
True, and even a perfectly stored battery in brand new condition will lose charge over time with nothing connected.
Still, I can leave my Spyder for several months, no battery tender, no nothing, with a 3 year old battery and it starts every time. So if you consider the spectrum between my Spyder and Dave's there is definitely something wrong with one of them.
Glad there was NASCAR and football today....................................
