Thanks for the post. There are a few who may try it.
Looks like fun... just need some snow and a big empty parking lot....:2thumbs:
I note you have posted this in the Spyder-General Forum.
I am going to change it to the:
Can Am Ryker Forum--all things Ryker.
No problem or error on your part.
With enough money and effort: anything is possible!
It's step brother is a Ski-Doo anyway. What do you expect?
I expected more impressive drifting. I wonder if he/she didn't want to push it harder? or it wasn't it rally mode? Should be able to open it wide open and slide all over. I'm guessing that rear tire must have been gripping. Few days ago it was 40 in that area so all under ice melted in the lots, so bet that tire catching, but with enough rpm and inertia on a rear spin should be ok I'd think? I don't know, but soon as they run the low interest promo I'm getting one! And this dealer close to my home I didn't know about. Thank you for posting!
If you want to bust drifts: BRP has some products available that are MUCH better-suited to the task. :2thumbs:
If it snows in KC like they are predicting tomorrow night, you can bet your bottom dollar I will be out doing donuts in the church parking lot Saturday morning! :ohyea:
Looks like fun playing in the snow. I want to know if you can ride it on the streets to work in the snow.
Rode a sidecar every winter for 10 years.
Sorry about the "edit" notice in your post...I punched the wrong button.
I do not know what the Ryker manual says...but the Spyder manuals state NOT to ride in snow and ice conditions.
I have made this comment before...but I see this is your second post...so I will do it again.
The two front wheels act like snow plows. The rear wheel will spin...will be exaggerated on the Ryker..because its even lighter than spyders. If you can get it going...you may have problems stopping.
Others can give it a go...but when the black ice and snow comes here...I just park em.
It is called a challenge! :roflblack:
I have to drive about 200 yards to get to my parking lot playground... Snow started 2 hours ago... If not over 3 inches by morning, we will see if she will dance.
My local dealer said a couple of the guys were trying to figure out if they could put ice-tires on them so they can take them on the frozen lakes...
Unfortunately, too much snow fell to get the Rally out... 9" and still snowing
bummer. I was hoping for a report on riding on the streets with snow.
