Fitted the Tri-Axis handlebar
Those look great, will the Tri-Axis work on the 2020 RTL for heated grips?
Installed the RLS cat delete. Wow nice sound with stock muffler. Deeper, a little not too much louder. Makes the bike seem "bigger" or beefier in some way.
I tried it first without the additional baffle piece but now put that in. I'm on a stepping path to getting Stage 2 tune eventually.
Finally put on my led headlights and fogs, I got from Lamont almost two years ago now!!!! Don't want to jump right into things you know!!:roflblack:
Mounted up my PPA wheels and added on some low cost risers..
Rode her home from the dealer (new 2020 RT) - 1hr + mostly winding back roads - great to be riding again.
Yes this is the RLS cat delete with the resonator, black powdercoat. I went for a little over an hour ride with it this morning. Installing the baffle piece really made quite a difference. Quieted it down a lot. The sound is now more reasonable, deeper than with the stock catalytic converter but not too much louder. I definitely noticed reduced low end torque without the baffle. With the baffle installed the torque feels pretty normal again. I need to do some more riding with it - I haven't been on the highway yet with the baffle in. I also want to see how it feels running with a heavier 2up load. I'll update again maybe after the weekend.
thanks for that input Yabby. I have the delete with the resonator, but not the baffle and did not notice and loss of power or torque. She runs like a scared rabbit even 2 up. I may be old, but I certainly am not slow. I ride fast and take the curves fast and so far, she puts out more than enough suds for me. Maybe in winter, when I'm looking for things to do, I'll slip the secondary baffle in to see what it does.
I re-blacked all the graying black plastic that's now 5 years old. Looks great!
I don't know what it is, some stuff that looks and feels just like white milk. Given to me by a neighbor lady who says it only comes in 1-gallon cans for about $25. She learned about it from her golf-cart servicer... her cart trim looks good & shiny too.
added sling mods (bigbikeparts) backrest
Installed Lamonster Belt tensioner with XL roller. I tried everything. I tested the flex. Loosened the belt a touch and it went from 68-72MPH to 65MPH vibration. I tightened even more like a couple people on other threads said and it went back to 68-72MPH vibration. I tightened it even more and it still vibrated it. Loosened it back to BRP SPECS again and Installed the belt tensioner and GONE! I have no problems changing the bearing every other oil change. I ride 2 up a lot and my wife was even feeling it. I got into a habit at 72 to go past to 74MPH it and then relax throttle and it would go away. Now I don't have to worry about it anymore! She noticed it right away and I didn't even tell her.
Added a Battery Tender cable to my battery. Figured out where I'm going to add a USB charging port. And narrowed down my fog light issue to what I think are bad bulbs, everything else checks out.
while measuring polarity of aux light socket (lower front connector) - I shorted my leads together - didn't see sparks/wires not warm - but zero voltage
One might ask why did I try to measure polarity - well I've found wires crossed from factory before.
Discovered (now) no headlights (running lights/brake/turn ok-brp connect 5v usb ok - dash display ok- bike running ok) - plan to replace headlight relays (2) tomorrow and hopefully that fixes my oops moment!
Installed my volt meter/phone charger today. I know it's not much but it's something:ohyea:
Insulated the "glove box" on the '14 RTs.Took of tupperware and didn't see any good places to apply the insulated " wrap" . It's thin ,so I lined the inside. I also have had a 1/2" of foam on the bottom of the box to keep the .38 from bouncing around.

I don't call 911, I call 9mm. Where I live is getting as bad as Chicago when it comes to shootings. Gotta be prepared.
Well, I haven’t Installed them yet, but I did just order a set of LED headlights for my 2014 RT-S from Pierre at CanAmSpyderAccessories.com

Replaced "meep meep" horn with a car horn.

Put a comfort seat on the RT today!!! Now to see what difference that makes!:coffee:
Yesterday installed 2018 F3 Limited handlebars on 2020 RT - love it. Super easy install.
On another day I forgot to mention installed GPS and rode to MVA
Need to get some lights for front fenders - may wait till winter to install - little time left for riding
Ride frequent and Stay Safe
Installed (3) sets of EBC HH brake pads today. Now to "break" them in as best as possible...
