Rally! The 2012 Fall Mid-Atlantic Scooter Rally and Spyder Ride
It's Here! The 2012 Fall Mid-Atlantic Scooter Rally (MASR) joined by the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Spyder Ryde will be held on September 21st, 22d and23rd. 2012. Our Rally Headquarters for our Fall Event is back at the HollanderMotel, 320 East Main Street, New Holland, PA, so be sure to make yourreservations as soon as possible. Other lodging options are listed on our website. All departures (Check Activities Schedule under Events link on web site)will be made PROMPTLY from the Hollander Motel. Be sure to have a full tank of fuelin advance.
Registration and the ride events are free! However, registration is required atour Web Site: www.midatlanticspyder.com. ifyou plan to attend one of our organized rides for Saturday or Sunday. Details for the Fall Event will be posted there shortly. Asigned liability waiver form is also required to participate.
Our rally has its roots in the Maxi-Scoot community & more recently our“cousin,” the Can Am Spyder RT/RS Roadsters;but ALL are welcome to join … Scoot, Trike or Bike. We do recommend engine displacement of 150cc or larger for the rides which may contain some hills andcatch-up; however we will strive to accommodate all participants.
For this Fall, we are instituting some significant format changes:
1. MEALS:
a. Therewill only be one formal meal – that is the Saturday (September 22nd) dinner at Yoder’s Restaurant, 14 South Tower Road New Holland, PA 17557. All registeredattendees are requested to be present at this dinner. We will ride as arally over to Yoders Restaurant departing from The Hollander Motel at 5:45pm that evening for seating by 6:00.
b. Attendees may utilize any of the restaurants in the vicinity of New Holland forDinner on the 21st, breakfast on the 22nd and breakfaston Sunday, September 23rd.
2. RIDES:
a. All Organized Event Rides will depart promptly from Rally HQ at The HollanderMotel at 10:00AM on Saturday the 22nd, and at 11:00AM on Sunday the23rd. Sat/Sunday Organized Rides will be broken into smallergroups, as appropriate. We will have two great pre-ridden rides forall capabilities of riders.
b. Those attendees who wish to ride thearea independently may certainly do so. Please note – These ridesare not sanctioned by the event.
