Checking out the prices of Spyders and accessories on the Can Am website……I’m soooo glad I purchased my F3L when I did. The price of everything is climbing…..we’re back in the 70’s again. Hang on for a wild ride.

Ain't seen nuthin yet!
I agree. I hit a deer 5-6 weeks ago and did over $8000 damage to the spyder. I was hoping as long as there was no frame damage they would not total it. The max I’d receive was $22,000 back for my 17 RTL, which is darn good in normal times. They did not total it and only plastic, lights and miscellaneous items damaged. To buy a new RTL and all the accessories that would have been a $10000 loss. Yes still good deal getting a new machine for $10000 but I really don’t want to borrow anything at this time. We’ll see though if I made the correct decision. All the parts came in yesterday and it goes into the shop next Friday to be assembled.
To me part of this "inflation" is price gouging.
Well, if anyone was thinking of selling their ride, NOW is a good time to do it! Prices are crazy high and interest rates are still crazy low. But the Fed will wake up next spring and push the rates higher for sure.
Before Covid I bought a Ryker and JetSki and Paid Zero shipping and Zero setup as was my usual practise for years. Now the same dealer charges $500 shipping and $300 Prep PLUS a $250 commodity fee- which means I'm lucky to get one?
My 2011 RS just sold for the same price as I paid for it new, didn't hang around either. I got a good deal at the time but its been well used since so very surprised.
I have been wanting to trade my Buick Enclave for a truck. The sales price for my Buck has fortunately gone UP over $2,000 in the last year or so. But, the price of trucks has gone up over $3,000!!!!! Just can't win..... Jim
I bought a 1996 sea ray Sundancer for $12,000 six years ago and sold it this month for $26,000
With prices apparently leaning upwards on used Spyders according to several posts here, does anyone know if dealers have an overstock of used Spyder inventory?
Maybe now is a good time to sell the Spyder, sit on the money and buy a nice sports car when prices come back a bit.
You may have some thing there PMK!!! NAAAA, Ill stick with my old junk and ride the heck out of it:2thumbs:
100% agree
Recently sold our older pontoon boat. Got about what we paid for it 6 years prior. Trouble was what we had to pay for a replacement (different style).
I traded it and the dealer offered me well above what I thought it was worth. In fact when I told them what I wanted for it they said "that's too low" and offered me more. After servicing etc they then increased the price , as you'd expect, and it sold as soon as they put it up for sale. So everyone did ok out of it.
