When it was a sweltering 42°
Wow. At 42° I wouldn't even LOOK at my Spyder. At 72° I wear my leather jacket.
But I've been riding nearly each day lately, without a jacket!
I live in the Phoenix area, and believe it or not it gets cold (to us, anyway) in the desert. What we don't have is ice and snow. I don't care how cold it is, I'll ride. I've ridden in the upper 20's, which is rare. It usually doesn't get below freezing here, but lower 30's don't scare me.
I got a little ride in yesterday it was 72 … today 42.
yeah but guys 42 is practically bikini bikini weather in SD:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::rof lblack:
Born & raised in Detroit Michigan. Moved to the lower Fla. Keys in 85’. Found that it was easier to shovel rain. Relocated to north central Fla. in 98’. There are a few things I miss living in Michigan. Snow, cold & ice, not so much=:-)

Been going to work and back on the Spyder this winter as it has been weird cold but no snow and not much need for salt so I have able to ride a couple of days a week on a regular basis, in the mornings teens and 20's afternoon 40's and 50's.
I have my snowsuit that I wear with some joe rocket snowmobile gloves, haven't had a need for any heaters yet although I do have the face shield on my full helmet freeze over at lower speeds.
I usually ryde on Sunday but the weather didn't cooperate today, so I took the car instead.
Car thermometer hit 107 degrees at 3:45pm. :yikes:
Looked out the window this morning. It appears between a little rain and warmer temps, 99.9% of the lingering snow from my original post is gone. My weather app is showing highs for the next 10 days of at least 47° which is telling me the riding season is drawing ever closer.
