Just bought a 2015 F3 and the previous owner was tall so the floorboards are all the way forward , the wife needs them all the way rearward . Do I have to get it (linkage rod) from canam or is there an aftermarket alternative ?

Lamont sells a rod that lowers the brake pedal also. Doc (Roadster Renovations) has an adjustable rod. You can also find BRP rods on Ebay.

I dont think lamonster offers a #1 or #2 rod. only #3 and up.
I have a stock #3 if needed.
You can get a stock #1 or #2 threw your local dealer. They don't cost much.
An additional question for this. I am tall, my wife is petite and she wants to drive the Spyder. The dealer provided the shorter brake rod for me. How long does it take to adjust the brake and footpad on a 2017 F3 Limited? Thanks in advance.

You know, it's a $30 part. It really isn't worth the search.
Just put the Ultimate Floorboards from Pierre at Spyder Accessories and it should work for the both of you. Great product.
Sounds like you just need to buy her her own spyder.
