Has anyone received their 2022 Spyder or received word on a delivery date?
Has anyone received their 2022 Spyder or received word on a delivery date?
Are you kidding? Even the dealerships don't know the answer to that question.
Just saying they don't know but possibly end of February.
My dealer said they received notice that their first delivery will be received in February, and my 2022 is in that order.
:chat: If all goes well, some time late February or early March. But you never know until it comes to your Spyder Dealer.
Waiting is the hardest part. ..... :banghead:
Been told late March if no supply chain issues. It is not usually good riding weather here until at least May so here is to hoping............

There's at least one out there if this video is to be believed. I sort of question it since this video was uploaded in December. In any case here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQCxSeR9cSQ
Ordered mine is late December 21 and the dealer said that it may get shipped in May or June. That is a really long wait. :sour:
everything my dealer has coming in is already sold, was told thats it for this yr, i was going to trade my 2020 F3L in on a new red F3L red spiecial, the day of going shopping for a new one is gone..
Are production numbers down, or has demand increased????? In other words, are there more customers for Spyders and Rykers that in previous years??????????
They are very hard to get here on the Canadian east coast. They are getting really popular now.
According to the local area dealers, each dealer gets an allocation of models and any pre-order has to be taken from their allocation with minimal changes in color and options.
My local dealer only had a few RTLs allocated and only one in the Marsala Red which was already promised to someone else. He tried everything to get me to chose a different color from his allocation. I guess he must have convinced the other guys to take a different color so I could get the Marsala Red. Maybe it was the $28K deposit that convinced him. He said that he could not order any machines beyond what he was allocated.
Edit:
I forgot to mention that there are no bargaining or deals to be had; it's MSRP or above.
There are definitely more demand for Spyders in my area, Calgary AB. The local dealer had record sales last year and has already surpassed those numbers this year with pre-orders! When I put a deposit down in Nov. of last year the dealer stated he could get what ever he ordered, not sure if that is the case now.
I'm not in the market for a 2022, having just this past summer bought a new 2021 RT, but I am curious about what changes were made for the 2022 models.
Colors, wheels. About it.
:coffee: Still waiting for my Blue to come back. The new Colors are very nice but not wanting them for my Spyder.
Different colors for everyone. ...... : )
Was at the dealership last weekend, they were unloading 2022 rykers and ATV's.
That is encouraging. Up here in VT I was told possibly April. After waiting for my special order 2021 truck I've learned patience. I'm hearing that some guys that snow checked 2022 snowmobiles still haven't received them and winter has about 1 month left depending on where you live.
I ordered a Sea to Sky on August 12th. Was told delivery would be in Feb. Called dealer yesterday and they said it was pushed out to March 28th. I think 7 months is a little too long. They must have some real serious manufacturing problems. Making me wonder how it will be getting parts and accessories after I pay for it. I'm beginning to have second thoughts about Can Am.
I was at my local dealer in Calgary Alberta Canada was unloading a load of snowmobiles, the ones that were do to arrive in January and they were still missing 2 pre-sold units in this shipment. As mentioned they build the sleds and Spyders in the same Quebec plant. The dealer stated they were going to run the sled builds an extra 2 weeks and then switch to the Spyder builds but did not anticipate any severe delays on the Spyders. I guess what ever severe delays means is open for ones own interpretation. The dealer also mentioned that were limited to 100 of a certain ATV and they have sold through these already. So likely at the earliest late March into April here for the Spyders.
Your Sea to Sky likely wasn't scheduled to be built until sometime in January at least. The factory that builds Spyders also builds snowmobiles and they have to switch over the assembly line. Another post in this thread seems to indicate they were going to run the sled line for an extra two weeks to make up additional orders.
Just came from my dealer. They too have received word on a 3.28 date. Ordering it around Labor Day, I knew it would be a spring delivery.
They said they have now received all their sled orders for the season and believe the changeover in Laval has occurred. Since we still have snow on the ground (and probably more to come) to accompany all the road salt, the end of March, first of April will be good timing.
Now I can tentatively update the buyer of my 2014, as he is chomping at the bit just like I am!
