Has anybody had a chance to compare the two. This is my second Spyder and I find the comfort seat a little better than the standard seat. I do a lot of long rides, and I find after about and hour and a half, my ass starts to go numb. I stand up for a few seconds, then I’m ok for another hour or so. The longer the days gets, the shorter the interval of having to stand up gets.
Look at the review of "Three seat comparison" done by tehrlich on this forum. I don't have a link but it is easy to find with the search. Lots of very good information that will help..... Jim
Not to "muddy the water" but we bought a Mustang seat for our 2013 RT last September. bought driver and passenger backrests too. we had the stock seat that I had added a backrest for me and doctored the seat and Beadriders etc. Best thing we ever did comfort wise. Still use the Bead Riders and after awhile you get saddle sore but comfort is greatly increased. I know some who like the Ultimate seat. Not much knowledge on the Comfort seat.
Try an $80 gel pad from Motorcycle Dave before you drop $1500 on a custom seat.Quote:
