A former GF, traded Her 2012 RT-S ( a two yr. old Spyder ) with 8,000 mi. and farkles in to a dealer in 2014 and received $12,500 that was 5 yrs. ago ….. so a 2011 RTS ( now 9 yrs old ) with 8,000 mi for $14,000 is imho a total rip-off …. BRP no longer even makes the V-twin engine to put in any Spyders they make now ….. Check the For Sale / WTB section quite a few Bargains currently there …… Mike :ohyea:
Spend a little more and get a 2016 or 2017. I had a 2011 and was a good scoot but the 3 cyl. is a lot better.
I wouldn't consider any 998, and the price you are talking about is no bargain.
Sold my 2014 RTL loaded with the 1330 for $12k earlier this year. Get 2014 or newer.

Not a good deal. I sold my 2014 RT for $13k 2 years ago. It had about 21k miles, but also had 2 years left on the warranty and a load of extras. Sadly, the guy that I sold it too has a brain tumor and is looking to sell it. He only added about 2k miles in those 2 years.
