I have a 2019 F3 Limited and finally got to pair my LG Smartphone with it. I have BRP Connect, and can access the music on my phone. But, I don't hear any sound from the speakers. The song shows that it is playing, but no sound. Help!

You might have the music set to play through the helmet. You can change it in BRP > music > settings
I am having trouble trying to play music from my Android phone on my F3 Limited. I have tried both BRP Connect, with data cable attached, and just with Bluetooth. I can see the albums and songs on the screen, and when a song is playing, no sound comes from the speakers. I have the audio set to speakers, not helmet.
So far I am not impressed with the whole system. Seems like it could be made simpler.
:gaah:
As far as I know, it's only compatible with Apple devices - iPhone iPods
Turn on your Spyder ignition key. Wait and let your phone BT pair with your smartphone. Do not plug it in to the Spyders usb port. If your music player did not start on its own. Start it from your phone. Then turn turn up the media volume from the phone volume control. You will get a warning that high volume will damage your hearing. Choose continue or whatever to ignore the warning and increase the volume to full.
Thank you so much for your reply. I now can play music from my phone.
BRP Connect is useless!
Glad that worked for you. You will likely have to do that again everytime time after you have cycled your phone off and on. BRP Connect is not useless. I just prefer not to use it. Now that you have the volume issue fixed on your phone. You can go back to trying out BRP Connect. You may like the apps on your screen.
2016 and 2018 have different sound systems
I have had no luck hearing anything with clarity on a motorcycle or a Can Am. The volume must be set so high that I get distortion. The Can Am system is awful. I stream from my phone by Bluetooth to my helmet intercom. Also, since I wear ear plugs, the volume is set high but overall the noise level is not.
This works well for me to listen to music and directions and does not lay out an objectionable noise level for those around me.
