I was the oldest narcotics officer on the squad, hence the name Grandpot.
With all the talk about Facebook "hackers" I don't know how I feel about posing in this thread...:roflblack: Since no one has stripped the metadata from my posted photos and shown up at my house asking for a ryde I guess I can kinda answer:
- My first name is Michael (not Mike:lecturef_smilie:...long story)
- My middle name starts with an "M"
- My last name starts with an "M"
- I'm the 2nd
Deep Purple "Super Fan"
With all due respect to the fellow in Las Vegas,
my first name is Michael, not Mike,

Back when I was first getting on forums around y2k for all my interests, I kept trying to come up with clever names based on the forum I was joining. Every single name I came up with gave me the same error: "The user name you are trying to register has already been taken." So, it only made sense to go with... "taken." Been using it on all my forums since. Well, except for one I joined that "taken" was taken! On that one I joined as "usernametaken."
I've been a COP in both Cleveland, OH and Indianapolis, IN since 1980. Retiring next year.
Mine is hellridgeryder because I live on Hell Ridge Road Browning, Ill
My mother gave me my handle--been using it most of my life.
These are some pretty good names and reasons, keep them coming.

I started that one 2/25/2012. So far, it has 20,475 looks and 243 posts. Might be good for you to start one and see what has been added.
Also started a Vanity Plates 2014 thread 1/13/2014. That one had 1812 looks and 35 replies. I got out of the vanity plate stuff so I am
"normal" now. :yikes: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...=vanity+plates

.
My handle was chosen so that I could remember it.
J-The first initial in my first name
C-The first initial in my middle name
Gammack-My last name
These have served me well for over 60 years. I don't live my life in a way that I need to use a "Handle". If you want to ask me something please do. I want you to know who you are asking and I would like to think that most would tell me who is asking.
