This thing rocks! Checked them out today. Get to ride tomorrow!
There is a light accessory that is plug and play, the top box comes off easy, there is one plug and a knob. The bike has a circuit under the seat to add stuff. I’ll search for one on the front.
I am so excited and happy for both you and Ann.:2excited:
Can't wait to hear your review of the ride. Let me know after your ride if you feel a need for an alignment, and will you be checking all 4 of the spyders they give you? If you can't answer here just PM me;)
I have my current RT up and running great now, but can't wait for the 2020's to arrive. :riding:
We agreed to be on sabbatical, so none of that. We did not bring tools. Call your dealer to see if they are a tour stop. Team California begins in a couple of weeks!
Our first event was today. Horrible weather, rain, cold, yuck! Still, all 7 people showed up. They loved it!! Positive feedback, and I think a couple walked in and bought one!! We will go on a nice ride tomorrow.
Texas! We were in Florida for training at BRP in Palm Bay. Our area is select dealers in Texas who are participating in this promotion. We are making our way there. Tour stops include Houma (Spyders in the Bayou), Shreveport, Little Rock AR, and the rest in Texas! 6000 plus miles. At the end, we are hoping to swing up to Deadwood!
Don't go back to TX until you stop off in Lakeland and see the 'old biker'. lol Seriously, if you can get here, I would be pleased to send you my cell phone. No cost, it on me.
Bill
LOL! You and 4000 other close friends!
Is the Chalk White a dull flat white ??????
No, it is gloss, with metalflake in the paint. More like a grey than white.
Joe,
Is the lid on the RTl tour box hydraulic, or a latch like the F3l?
Les
Hydraulic! Much nicer. The quick release is cool, twist, lift, unplug, remove. I really like this thing. Very cool. Just needs a manual shift! A turbo would be nice.....
Just catching up on this thread and, boy, Joe, I'm (am sure we all are) jealous!!!
My wife saw the advert for the Experience Specialist and shared it with me...and was really into the idea.
I hesitated, for a number of reasons, including being relatively new to the Spyder (3rd year just started), heading into my first full year as an MSF BRC coach, and mostly having absolutely no idea how to drive a truck or pull a trailer...heck, I can barely manage the 10 c.f. cart behind my lawn tractor!
Looking forward to hearing about your and Ann's experiences and will be following this thread.
And maybe, just maybe, next year...
Enjoy the ryde!
I gotta tell ya, we are blessed! We so look forward to showing off this thing!! If we can show this to all of our friends,it will rock!!!

Call the dealer, and get them to invite you to the event. Not for the general public. By name invitations. That said, if all else fails, we go to dinner every night. If we happen across someone who is interested, we are happy to help! But do try to get on the schedule. We rode today, and had a ball! Everywhere we go, people are checking them out. So cool to show them off!!!
Is BRP going to do something similar for the F3t and F3L rollout?
We sure hope so! I’m certain they want to see how this goes. If this is successful, I could see it!
Joe Two questions came up on another board. On the 2020s has the front sway bar been up graded and will a BajaRon bar still be necessary? Do the come laser aligned from the factory? (really don't believe that one). Thanks for the response.
Two very good questions Paul, wondering that myself. I was also wondering about the belt drive tensioner, is there or not there, if not, does it need one? All questions will probably be revealed in due time, that's why I'm waiting.....I'd like to know just how much improved the 2020 is over the 2017/2018/ or 2019.....
Can you tell us the stops and dates for Texas?
