Is is this thread still alive? I am a new Spyder owner and would be interested in meeting other riders. I'm near Rosemont and the Blvd and I am willing to travel.....http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/w...bdaef/imagegif

Our group (formerly the Glouchester Spyder Lovers) has many memebers going to Maggie Valley. Several of us (riding or towing) will be meeting at the NC welcome center just over the border around 9am - 10am to go down in a group. Join the FB Group and read up!

I'm in Portsmouth. And I don't do facebook. Most of my rides are out toward Suffolk and Smithfield. Lots of nice roads to ride with minimal traffic and nice scenery. PM or reply if you feel like getting together some weekend.

I live on the Shore of MD but always up for a ride. I am originally from Chesapeake and spend a great deal of time in Tidewater. Just happen to also make the trek from the Shore to the mountains of VA and NC a few time a year, Anyone ever want to make a trip let me know.
good morning, looking for riders in my area. I know its been sometime for posts in this thread but I will try to stir the pot!!!
In the same boat, would love to find riders in my area, South Jersey, Vineland and near by areas.
New F3 L owner in Norfolk. Where do folks get their service in the Hampton Roads area? I need a handlebar straightening or alignment. All Out wants to hold my ride for two weeks to do this. Really??
That's typical around here. The place in Richmond might offer faster service. However when it comes to alignment issues no better than laser alignment. Google it, there are some people that bought the stuff and do it on the side. Had mine done at Maggie Valley last year - pretty much all Spyder fests will have a booth too, call ahead. There is a YouTube video DIY alignment if you are brave.
I've heard similar things about the wait for service there. Some friends brought them their 2013 there and it was over a month before they got it back and it was stored outside without a cover as well. When they got it back, there was water in the rear trunk. They weren't happy.
You could call precision cycle in Norfolk and ask if they work on Spyders. They seem like a good independent shop with reasonable prices. As for the alignment, I havent had mine done and it tracks fine on the highway. If SpyderAnne and company would ever make it to VA, I might make an effort to get it done, but its the one state they have not yet hit.
well, our 2012 RTL will have a sleeping partner in the garage. Have them parked rear to rear looks pretty nice. Have only drove it from AOC, and a little on Sunday. We will be driving around town when above 50 deg on the RT so my wife can sit in front for now on. Hope that by summer we can ride side by side. She is excited
taking these pictures I remember when both car's parked inside.... oh well
So I take it not much happening in the Hampton Roads Area? Did the interest die out or are there other groups out there that aren't as organized to be on the forum? BRP chapters get no hit either.
I’m in Hampton Roads and I’ve probably seen another Spyder rider 6 times in 8 years. Lol
Just doesn’t seem to be a thing around here.
.
Well if you see a F3sS rollin round here starting the next few weeks that'll be me!
I usually go out for morning rides on the weekend. Portsmouth out toward Suffolk and back. I'm not the only rider out at that time either and I usually see one or two trikes each time. They're out there, not nearly as popular but folks are riding them.
