You're definitely going to like the improvement.

I recently put on the silber turbo exhaust, put on the Atlas throttle lock, I am waiting for the new end links to come and madstad windshield. That will be it for this riding season
to RyderRick: Definitely do like the improvement. Was concerned about harder turning in curves as posted elsewhere, but did not notice that. Thanks for your response.:riding:
What did I do with my Ryker today?
I bought it-- first bike I've ever owned.
Drove it 77 miles home from the dealership in gorgeous 55-degree sunny skies. All 2 lane, country rodes (until the last few miles). Beautiful and relaxing.
So much fun-- giddy like a kid at Christmas.
Also, I do not appear to have a healthy enough sense of fear. It was easy and very comfortable for me to get on the freeway for a few miles at the very end of the ride and cruise down at 70-75 mph. Too soon?
Think I'm going to go back out. Later!
I took “Bentley” out to Amish country 😉
Weather has been very spotty lately in upstate NY but managed a short ride to the gym in late afternoon after adding generic A-arm protectors I picked up from Amazon.
Today I had a noon appointment across town to have my motorhome looked at, and thought "Maybe if they decide to work on it today, I'll be stuck there, so I'll take my Ryker along just in case. That way I can unload it and go for a ryde, especially since it was such a beautiful 80 degree day here in the Valley of the Sun." Well they couldn't work on the moho today, so on the way home I decided to stop and unload the Ryker near the White Tank Regional Park and ryde around there, especially since I've never been inside the park. This large mountain desert park is in the far west valley, and specializes in camping and hiking.
On the 6 mile ride to the park I ran into a swarm of bees crossing the road. I was going 45 mph, luckily my full-face helmet and windshield protected me. I felt 11 bee strikes on my helmet. I spent about an hour driving thru the park. Some strange clouds hovered overhead, and even dropped a few sporadic raindrops. I felt 11 raindrops hit my helmet. I enjoyed those much more than the bees stikes. ;) Here are a couple of photos, you can see the strange clouds in the first one:
P.s. My wife and I will be hauling our Rykers up to Mingus Mountain (between Prescott Valley and Jerome,AZ) to camp and ryde on this coming Sunday and Monday (May 2-3). If anyone in the area is interested in joining us on the delightful mountain grades and curves, send me a PM.
042921 Finally got the time to add "Ride-On" to each of the tires, as a flat preventative.
then took her out for a 20 mi spin and all is well and balanced.
the snow is away here in Austria - so I tested my new rear tire (Hankook Ventus V12) - has more grip than my old Toyo - and you see how stable the front is on higher speed - BajaRon set and very soft (longer) RFY shocks .. runs perfect 17.000 miles now

Nice video. Looks like a great route to ride. Very little traffic, a nice two lane highway, and beautiful scenery. What more could a rider ask for. Hopefully I wont be needing tires for a while, but it good to know whats out there that will fit our machines, and how well they perform.
Ya, nice road Chris. Looks very similar to what I'll be ryding this weekend on Mingus Mtn.
send us some pictures ..
we also have some real old castles here - 17.500 miles on our "dolcevita" now - I love these small Shad cases on the sie !!

Just got back today. Here is a photo from yesterday of the road that goes toward the summit of Mingus Mtn, from the pass. Last time I was here I don't believe this was paved. At the summit (7800 ft) there is a cliff that has a hang glider launch. It's now a real fun ride, you can see the road winding down below in this photo.
Added quad lock phone mount today. Works great!
made our first 2up-full-loaded test this weekend - the cases damaged my EU-Blinkers on the back .. changed them to the US Version now, better to find out now and not during our holiday-tour !

Took a roundabout route to a casino today, enjoying the countryside roads.
Left the casino several hours later about $250 on the positive, came home at night with a bit of rain.
Put about 100 miles total on the Ryker.
Great day!
New to forum...created a new post in the "custom mod" section. Added rear running lights with turn signals. Check it out!

Advance Sport Touring Ryker helmet locks. Works under Can-am Max Mount. Left side was too tight for one of my helmets as the swingarm/rear drive is there. Couldn't tell if it would work with Can-am saddle bag mount but looking at pics, even if the helmet fit, might be tough to reach lock. Considerably cheaper than handlebar end helmet locks and I'm happy so far!
Today I installed quick/hard mount, whatever it's called. F-4 custom windshield. Installed and routed wiring for GPS.
The mount and F-4 was super easy..... Wiring the GPS was not.
We just rode past there on Friday. Never went down that road. Will need to check it out. We rode up from Chino Valley to Jerome for lunch.
