Count me in for some chocolate pie. :yes:
Count me in, I have never been one to miss desert!!!:yes:
I remember last years secret pie run with that "Mile High Meringue" on the lemon pie. I still dream about it. I have a confession though....somehow we made reservations for the table we sat at for the " secret" pie run:dontknow::roflblack::yes::coffee:...what a great time we had!! Save room for us Len, in case we don't get reservations this year at your secret location.:thumbup::2thumbs: Can't wait for all the fun at Spyderfest 2013!!:cheers:
My philosophy... Eat desert first! That way if you get full, you've already had the most important part of the meal!
Sounds like someone dropped the ball on the 'Secret' part of the ride. I think Len is working harder this year to fix that glitch. On the other hand, bribery is always an option!
I always thought if you had to be stranded on an island, with only one food, it should be pie! Pie is the perfect food. Forget about the main course.
That being said, I sadly have to pass. Pie is definitely not on the diabetic diet, and secret pie runs are way past this old man's bedtime. Enjoy a piece of apple, cherry, lemon meringue, banana, pumpkin, key lime, rhubarb, or any of a dozen others for me.
Sounds like fun for us first timers! Please order more PIE! The two of us can always share!
:clap:I'm in!!!
:thumbup::thumbup: I say, count me in!!!:yes::yes::yes:
We r in for PIE!!!!!!
Scotty, Scotty, Scotty... ;)
After forty-eight years of Type I diabetes; I'm not giving up pie! :thumbup: The Sawbones can yell at me anytime he wants; all he wants... :2thumbs:
Just behave yourself a bit better the rest of the time, and nobody will tell on you!
Someone needs to pull this thread. I get up and eat a piece of pie every time I read it! :yikes:
66 replies in a day:clap: I can see us Spyderlovers love pie almost as much as riding. Looking forward to the pie run again this year :thumbup:
Count me in also. Last year the pie was great and so was the ryde. Can't wait for the fun to begin.
One of the coolest events of last year, cruising the back road at night with all those lit up Spyders. Count me in if I'm there!
im in, lets race.
[QUOTE=pitbull;SO WHO'S GOING WITH ME THIS YEAR????[/QUOTE]
I'm GOING, I'll be the one riding on the back of your spyder so I don't get lost! :ohyea::clap::2thumbs::2excited::yes::cheers:
Oh, and my wife will run along behind.:D
A1c over the last six months: 6.5 & 6.6.
It comes down to quality of life versus ultimate quantity of it. I kept the A1cs below six for years; it was just too worrisome walking that close to the edge of hypoglycemic episodes every day... :shocked:
You poor guys who've developed Type II diabetes don't have the tools for dealing with "unauthorized" snacking... I'm on an insuline pump with a blood glucose montior tapped into it for monitoring just what happens when my teeth and belly start running a marathon... (Medtronic 723)
Bedtime... you'll sleep better with a full belly! :thumbup:
As long as there's no evidence of what was consumed... or by whom! :shocked:
