Ridenow, that's his problem! Please encourage him to call Sierra Cycles at 520 459 2589 and ask for David Levitt. They are an independent family-owned dealership that knows what customer service is! Feel free to mention my name (Rob Owen) and perhaps your friend can get a 2nd opinion from David Levitt.

I am reading this to mean that if the dealer is in the US then they must be an authorized dealer (vice versa) if the dealer is in Canada.
I may be wrong, but that sure doesn't make a lot of sense to have a clause that would restrict an owner to ride in their home country only!
