I will turn 78 next month and plan on riding till I am 100.
This Thread is 11 years old! If I would have posted then I would have been a lot younger.
Jack
55
I'm 36 and been riding it for 2 years. Its for all ages to enjoy if they wish.
I have seen quite a few retirement homes billboards with a old guy on a Spyder RT but who cares. I like the Spyder, although it’s just RS I like, that’s all that matters. I have more fun on Spyder than anything I had before.
We must have aged a lot since the thread started. The first page had all 50's and 60's. No 70's.:bowdown::bowdown:
I did not take time to read all the other entries. Out of sight, out of mind. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
Since my wife an I ryde together most times, perhaps we should answer according to our combined ages = 150 (as of June 2018). That will push the average higher, but perhaps is justified because of her tendency to dictate just how, when, where I should drive the Spyder. Any resulting performance is jointly produced!!!
Better half (more ways than I can count anymore ) is 65 in Sept 2018, I turned 75 on May 22, 2018.
Well I am fast approaching the age of dirt at 79
:doorag:
Hell, I thought that I was older than dirt and have been saying it for a couple of years now, and your telling me that I’m wrong? I’m 75 and still doing 300 mile (not km’s) day rides in 95* F temps, which I liken to blast furnace temps. and yes everyone, keep hydrated while out riding (or while sitting at home) in these temps.
We are 59 & 54
Dave
2 Spyder family, 58 & 57
We're both 55 now. In a couple months we add another year..
Don
69 on June 21.
I got my Medicare card in mail a couple weeks ago and in about 12 more days I can start using it. Be 65 next month an my other half well I wont say how old she turns next month. She rides behind me but I'm going let her start driving the Spyder too.
Over 100,000 miles on spyders
and still going strong
71 here
63 and there is only one race, the human race.
I'll be 68 this year I didn't start riding again until I was 62, on 2 wheels then. I can attest after attending KC Spyder Riders meetings that many are older than me and only a few are younger.
This thread is so old it's back from the dead!
Still in my late 50's, kicking and screaming about being dragged into the next decade. But I've embraced AARP on account of the senior discounts that members get.
This thread died in 2010 but came back to life this month. Scanning through the old posts was fun. Most posts were from people who were unfamiliar. And, I agree with akspyderman. The age of us spyder owners seems to have "matured". At 71, I don't help to lower the average.....
71 here and love it i still ride a 2002 moto guzzi v-11 sport so your only as old a you look:yes:
Huh? There is only one species, the human species. "Race" is subordinate to, and within, species. Per Merriam-Webster: (emphasis added)
RACE noun.
a : an actually or potentially interbreeding group within a species; also : a taxonomic category (such as a subspecies) representing such a group
b : breed
c : a category of humankind that shares certain distinctive physical traits
If your statement were true, then it logically follows that there is only one breed of dogs, the dog breed. Right? :dontknow:
