Hey Randy,
If you read this, I must say that every time I see your pin stripping I think what a great job. How much to install my dashboard kit once they are shipped. Just think, you can practice doing mine.

I've given mine the name "Serenity" on Fuelly. However, it doesn't seem to be sticking. It doesn't help the fact I've never really gotten into the habit of naming inanimate objects.
No name unless it leaves me stranded or breaks. Then it will get a few names. Cant tell you on here. Imagine.
The screen name is for our Chihuahua "Zorro" who got his name because Chi's originated in Mexico and he has a mask. So, since my wife insisted that when we get the Spyder that he was going to ride along the Spyders name is "Toronado" which is the name of "El Zorro's" horse.
...and her name is Aragon. Now mind you, many might say I am in my second (or 3rd, 4th, etc.) childhood, but the first time I saw the RT from the front, I said it was a dragon transformer. For me, that converted to needing a dragon name long before adding the dragon graphics. Of course as many others might say, it might just be my silly female hormones at work!:dontknow:
Diana
Mine is the Libellule (LIBLUL on the plate)...Dragonfly....
French poem by Presvert playing on words " a reigner" (to reign) and "araignee" (spider):
Le pape is dead ( the pope is dead)
Un nouveau pape est appeler a reigner
(a new pope is called to reign)
Araignee? Araignee? Quel drole de nom, pourquoi pas libellule ou papillon?
(Spider? Spider? Why not dragonfly or butterfly?)
And this will now conclude today's French literature lesson!
Please don't take this the wrong way; but, I've wanted to ask this of others with, I guess what are called, vanity plates. I've seen some that I can figure out and others I cannot. When you came up with your plate, did you figure it would be a tough one or impossible one to figure out? I'm asking in regards to pronouncing the word and not that it is related to a French poem. Just curious.
Guess it has to do if you have your vanity plate for the others or for you... Even only a few of French speaking people will even understand!!!! (my Ural sidecar is named CAMOBAP.... Samovar in Russian so...). At least it helps with different 1st question from "how much" to "what does this mean"!!!!:hun:
PS: ...and I suffer from arachnophobia!!
We call our 2012 RT Performance "MAKIN' MEMORIES" Lots of good ones so far, and many, many more to come. :ohyea:
My 08 RS is Angie of you seen her you would know why.:roflblack::D My 010 RTS is Blue Bell. Why Blue Bell you ask. Have you ever tried the ice cream:roflblack::thumbup::thumbup:
When I brought my Spyder home after buying it in Wisconsin, I drove it off the trailer during a heavy rain and the tires left three wet tire tracks in the garage... thus the name "3TRACS".
FANG of course!!!
I'm beginning to think of calling my spyder Stella because it lights up and twinkles like the stars.
My first RTS The Black Widow , was killed by a trailer truck.. The new Ryde is the Bronze Stallion
When my wife saw our Spyder for the first time, she said from the front it looks like a bobsled. That started the wheels turning and we thought of Cool Runnings and one of our favorite scenes, where the team tries to think of a name for their new sled. So, we named her Talullah
Too bad she's not black, but it works nonetheless.:D
Ya man!...
We must ride...
I call mine BLEVE, Which stands for Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion. I love explosions and fire and such. Besides....its Black and Orange.
We picked it up on St. Patrick's Day.
MySpyder's name is Chunky. Everyone kept saying it looked so chunky next to the other bikes....just kinda stuck!
