I just installed the Lamonster Garage Bump Skid. It is not difficult to install and takes less than an hour and at least one adult beverage. It's made from 3/8” black HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). It basically goes from wheel-to-wheel and projects just in front of the nose of the Spyder. Much bigger than the one you are looking at. You remove the OEM skid plate and toss it aside. All hardware is included. Both sides of the Bump Skid are covered with a clear plastic film you remove. The instructions caution you about the drilling of two holes through a steel radiator hose support. I simply put a deepwell socket over the drill bit so I would not drill too deep. Please don't remove the Lamonster sticker or it will not protect your Spyder. You get two choices ...

AND you can get a LED bumpskid
I just installed the one in your pic. It seems to work ok. I'm saving money for a Chrome Bumper from Dennis Kirk and his Aluminum Skid Plate.:ohyea:
We got the Spyderpops LED bumpskid from Lamonsters Garage, and ordered a remote control for the LEDs from Spyderpops. In the daytime I have it set up at 100% brightness and set so it acts like a headlight modulator. At night I set it steady on at 25%.

I have one but I wrapped it with red vinyl as I have an All Dark RTL. Really helps protect the nose when parking close to curbs.
