In the UK we have a charity called "Red Cross" who provide medical cover to all types of events including motorcycle events. I give my old helmets to the local branch so that they can practice safe helmet removal on dummies and on each other. Maybe there is a similar organisation in the USA.
After reading Flier Tuck's comment I contacted my local fire department/EMS service. The chief assured me they could use old helmets for training and those they did not need would be turned over to the local community college that conducts EMT training courses and always has a similar need. Good tip, Flier!
Give them to the ex spouse when she takes her Spyder. :roflblack::roflblack:
Give them to an idiot with a bicycle...

It's been said, local EMS/fire we like to use them for practice.
Makes a nice hanging flower pot :yes:
You could always just give it to the kid that's wearing hundred-dollar sneakers... and has a ten-dollar head!
:joke::joke::joke:
We sold our at a yard sale. It's a fast selling items because we live in an area with lots of riders.
I tend to line them up on a shelf to help me keep track of the years and adventures that have passed into history. Getting to that age when I need reminders more than I'd care to admit. In fact, I've reached the age when I can forget what I'm doing while I'm doing it. Not an original comment but it fits. :D
However, EMT/Fire Dept. sounds like a more worthwhile idea.
I saw a pic of three old full face helmets turned into hanging light fixtures over a kitchen bench - looked great. Here are more ideas
All of the above, plus
Target Practice! :)
there are the motorcycle training places, local attractions, goodwill and all of the above...:thumbup:

You might be out of touch, if you're thinking $100.

:D If you've got a ten-dollar bike: turn it into a ten-dollar sidestand! :clap:
how about smacking someone as hard as you can with it if you see them sitting on your bike
Couple of years ago we donated 3 full face helmets, 2 vented textile jackets, and 4 pair of gloves to the local Motorcycle Safety Foundation that operates a couple of miles away from us.
They were VERY pleased. We looked at it as some "paying back" to them for taking Debbie through the course some 20+ years ago. :)
