could be a warped rotor. the only way to really see is to jack the front wheel off the ground, and spin it. see if you hear rubbing at a point or when you hit the brake.
Did u check to c if the lug nuts r tight?
Lug nuts are ok
will see what I can do to check the rotor
everything was fine when I started out last Friday
I have same problem on right side. Fender bounces up and down like I'm on a washboard when I brake, especially at highway speeds. Don't feel anything in the pedal though.
I'll spin the wheel like the other post suggested.
Could be a number of things. Any of which needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
Could be a warped rotor, as mentioned. Could be cord separation in the tire, a bent wheel, worn or loose A-Arm components, steering components, loose caliper, missing or broken brake parts, bad upper or lower ball joints, a VSS issue, or something no one has thought of.
Let us know what the fix is when you get it checked out.
Hi Ron,
Since this is only showing up under braking: I would bet that the problem lies there...
A warped rotor is also my "Best-Guess".
A loose rotor might just "float" on the rotor, and not cause any pulsing.
Missing or broken parts in the system would probably reduce braking forces enough, that it would be noticed.
IMHO... of course!
Stopped at Moto Zoo in Saint George Utah they told me it was a wrapped rotor and would take over a week to get from Can Am
they told me that I should make it back to Michigan as it is. Keeping my fingers crossed
What about a bad shock? Maybe not here as a dealer said otherwise.
:D Good point. I was just checking...
Spun the wheel, can hear rotor contact pad on part of the rotation. Ordered pair of Baharon's rotors. Hope that fixes problem.
