I was enjoying my ride on a nice day today. Then my F3S 2017 went into limp mode and the engine light went on. Not sure of the cause, anyone else experience this?
Thanks,
Gwenn

Codes very helpful if you can pull one up.
Another common cause--were you riding the brake pedal? That will cause a limp mode also.
It didn't give a code. I disconnected the battery and put the key away for a short period of time. Then reattached the battery, started her up and off we went for a short ride to check. Some one said the nanny didn't like breaks being ridden, good chance that happened having an ankle brace on may have curbed my feeling of the break today. :( It didn't do it again. However, it is due for a service and will be given a good look over. :)
That was the issue! :( Feel like an idiot for that!
glad it cleared and has not come back. I call them glitches and I have had my share. Very sensative these machines and they will toss out codes from some knee jerk reaction then clear and go on like nothing happened...:banghead: keep an eye on it and if it comes back you will have to dig a bit deeper..
RE: "glitches" The Spyder with all its magic and computers, sometimes likes to show the owner who is "really" in charge. :roflblack:
Amazing all the tech and it goes into limp mode! You'd think a simple warning would do, But the lawyers win every time.nojoke
Thanks for the update
