Is it possible to delete the start-up routine using BUDS/Mega?
I had an ECU Upgrade from Jase in Qld and the start-up routine was gone.
I had an ECU Upgrade from Monster and I think the start-up routine was gone (can't remember) but they couldn't disable DESS as Jase could.
I can now disable DESS but would like to delete the start-up routine as well...
Any thoughts?
Not that I can find. I have the Stage 1 flash from Monster FI on my 2020 RTL and the routine was bypassed. Our 2021 F3L has the same flash and the startup routine is still there...
Yep, stage 1 or 2. Turn the key hit start and go.
You can also turn the key, hit the mode button right away and hit the start button. No need to wait for for the screen to show.

Don’t be too fast saying that Pete. I’ve ried that routine on my ‘14 RTS many times and I have yet to have it work. The only time that I can just turn the key and start it is during quick fuel stops....SOMETIMES!Quote:

I don't remember if I saw it in a manual or posted here, but I think you have about 5 minutes before the system completely resets itself, so a "quick fuel stop" might qualify.Quote:

If you turn on your Spyder as soon as you walk up to it, by the time you get your gear on, it will be ready to go also.
