Since my guages don't work, I want to replace those useless guages with something else. I bought a volt meter for one, any suggestions for the temp guage replacement. Or even the volt meter.

The volt meter is easy stuff, black wire and red wire from gauge cluster, as far as the other one I have an oil gauge, but it is only a filler for the space and not hooked up

On the left side, a Ram Mounted Cup Holder & not that you need this on yours, but the right side has our Teddy-Cam LCD screen, mounted using a Ram Mount as well. Works for us, just thought I'd share.
In shis pic, the cup-holder is upside down as I had just painted the speaker grills & dash bezel & was trying to get a good pic of them.
But I think you get the jist. Whatever works for you my man.

I installed a Whistler radar detector, it fits in the orgional hole. It is specifically made for motorcycles but looks like a gauge. It has a bright blue led that flashes when any of the different radar signals are detected. It also comes with a heads up display you mount on the helmut and right now they are throughing these in with the order. I think I paid about $159, but it may have been a bit less. It has a black bezel so it is perfect and, every one will do a double take when they ask what is that for? lol....

You must disconnect both gauges for the digital fuel bars to appear on your dash screen. If you just disconnect the fuel gauge you will not have any info on the amount of fuel remaining in your tank. However, if you do not need fuel data then disconnecting the single gauge and replacing it with something else is not a problem. The analog temperature gauge will continue to function.Quote:

I'm not sure that is an accurate statement. I disconnected the fuel guage on my 2011 RT and the temp guage died. I also got both fuel and temp in the digital display. Hook fuel back up, lost digital and analog temp started working again.Quote:
