On your thread you have a 2014 Spyder STS .... so I feel the safe MAX size would be a 175/55-15 .... I once used a 185/50-15 on my 14 RT , however I bent the fender brackets and added washers to the mounting bolts ..... going smaller is not a problem ... the traction loss will be minimum......
