Has anyone found a tool that will fit in the very limited space under the seat of the RYKER to allow for spring preload adjustment?
I don't need to know about the suspension of the Rally model. What I am looking for is practical advice from someone who has actually used the tool in question.

Yes, I purchased one and it works. You don't have a lot of
room like you mentioned but it works.
I tried another one off of Amazon:
but had to return it as there was just no way this one would
work with the limited room available to get it in there let
alone swing it to change the spring settings.:doorag:
Lockjaw pliers would probably work.

Mine (like probably yours) it set for the softest ride/lightest weight. Even though I'm 290 lbs., it seems to be fine set that way.

I went to my misc tools drawer in my tool box, found five of them, just will pick the one that fits the best. Every OTHER motorcycle I've owned came with one......

I too remember having a decent tool kit but it was late 70's or early 80's the last time I bought a bike with worthwhile tools. Actually, this Ryker is the first bike I've bought in several decades that needed a tool for adjustments.
