I want to bump up the preload on my 2022 Ryker Sport with the KYB shock.
None of the adjuster tools I have will fit (go figure).
Went to the dealer to get one, he couldn't find one listed in his parts book.
The KYB shock has twin collars, one being a locking collar.
Just wondered what others are using.

Hammer and an aluminum bar.
Measure the OD of the locking ring.
Then try some of the sets on this page;

I am using preload spanner wrench, a bit fiddly but works.

Hammer and brass bar, fiddly as all get out. I can't find it now, but a guy on youtube used a sink drain wrench.

Stopped by a shop that rebuilt the forks on my last bike with the Ryker.
Rob one of the owners came out and had a look. Said he would be back in a minute.
Came back with a couple of wrenches, one from a KTM was perfect fit. Bought one.
The locking collar is being a PITA.
Might have to try the other one with a 3/8th breaker bar or the hammer and bar as a last resort.
Life goes on, one step forward, two back.
Take the weight off it before you attempt to move it and I always spray it a couple of squirts of penetrating oil the day before I attempt any job like this.
