Just curious.... how long should these bikes last? Mileage wise. I bought my 13 RT last Oct with 15k on her, have 36k now. I live in the South and am semi-retired so I ride a lot. Wonder if I'll wear it out before I pay it off :D
What's the highest mileage any of you have on yours?

Spyderjockey's 2008 GS has a lot more miles on it, since this picture was taken...
140615
Other than a leaky valve cover gasket: the engine is untouched.

Thanks, Good to hear because I love the bike and can see many many more miles I want to ride. Being 63 and not having a life time of bike experience I have a good idea of how long I can expect from my pickup truck but not a a bike.

There have been posts on here that show over 100,000 miles. I hope to get there.

It's like anything else mechanical, take care of it and it will take care of you. If you have an issue, fix it right away, don't let it get worse.

Being a motorcyle that has only been around for 10 years (almost) and in many cases not used all year around, it is hard to say. Many have passed the 100, 000 mile mark but had they been able to ryde all year could have doubled that. It will take many more years to get the real picture...Rest easy and ryde to your hearts content the spyder will be right there with youl......

100K plus should not be an issue. A few have surpassed that mark. How high will they get? :bbq::bbq:

We've heard of a 1330 rider in Ohio, that has already topped 100K miles. (No confirmation of it yet...)
And Ann is getting VERY close, with hers!
