WTS: bike to go with the yellow jacket for sale on this site

For anyone that likes the yellow jacket that was recently posted on this site for sale, and who do not have a yellow Goldwing, I can help you out. I have a 1983 GL 1100 Goldwing that I have had painted pearl hot rod yellow, and I have also had almost all of the chrome powdercoated black. 56,000 miles. Also installed the Clarion radio system in the fairing with handlebar controls.

As nice as that worked out (had a Suzuki 550 impulse I painted same yellow but with the chrome) I am confused as to the post. Are you selling this Goldwing..?? If so you need to add a bit more information..like a price :dontknow:

Questions:
Any problems with the charging systems?
Are the mirrors still nice and tight? (Changed mine to GL 500 mirrors. They took the vibration better!)
Conventional shifter; or did you add a heel/toe unit?

I put 50,000 miles on my GL 1100T, and would LOVE a second crack at one! :thumbup:

Yes, this Goldwing is for sale. I have somewhere between $4,000 and $4,300 invested in it with all of the extras that I have put on it. The radio system was especially salty!! I would like to try and get $3,000 for it. As for the charging system, I have not ever had a jproblem with it charging properly, but did have to put on a new starter. I also put a new timing belt on it. Since I love customizing bikes, I too did not like the stock mirrors that came with the fairing, and exchanged them for some black mirrors that set up and out much farther to allow me to see what is behind me. I like them 1000% better.
