Another type of hunting bad luck comes when using the extra sharp knife to disembowel and skin the carcass. The knife slips and they have major problems in the wilderness. :yikes:

It also should teach him to tie a tow rope to the hitch, not the rack. Nothing like adding leverage to help the rear wheels to turn the ATV over.

I have hunted & harvested elk in Wyoming, Idaho & Colorado back in the 70's & 80's... we always quartered the elk to transport it... elk is very good meat .. one has to be especially careful in the wilderness... an injury can be serious or even fatal because of the length of time involved to secure help... we always hunted in pairs just in case of an accident...
