Very scary to watch both.
If the Elio comes out in 2017 as promised, I am thinking it will make the above look like 5 star safety winners.
I am guessing the person in the red car would not have survived. :yikes:

But no usa or mexico here...nissan vs subaru and mostly trying to demonstrate the air bag effectiveness...still amazing....and scary....:yikes:

I'm not so sure. My $55K Audi Q5 is no more crash safe than a $25K Hyundai Santa Fe.

I don't buy my vehicles with the intention of ever finding out about how "great" they are in a crash... :D
If I did: I'd probably get one of these...

I didn't get much detailed info from the LINKED video so I googled Nissan Tsuru ....... well it is 25 years old, last qualified in the US in 94........ things have gotten a bit better ........ Apples to Oranges it would appear .... I think a lot of 25 year old designs ( in same weight class ) wouldn't fair much better .......... My take is - SHAME on the Mexican Gov't. :banghead::banghead::banghead: ................ jmho......... Mike :thumbup:
