My wife started training me 40 years ago to put that seat down. Fortunately, we have separate bathrooms, but I still put the seat down in mine. All of you ladies out there, training does work. Just depends on how recalcitrant your man is. For me, given the rewards, it didn't take long. (Well, maybe longer than I would admit).
