Has anyone actually sat on the Spyder with the new passenger peg extensions? The stock set up has 12" between the pegs and from the photos, it looks like the passenger pegs not only move down, but forward a few inches. I'm not sure what size feet riders have, but witn my size 11 boots sitting midway on the driver pegs, there is not much room for the passengers feet to move forward without interferring with my feet. Hate to spend $220 dollars to find out that my wife's comfort comes at the expense of me having to move my feet so that just my heels are on the pegs. :dontknow:

Right! The BRP extensions move forward only, it appears. But, Tony's extensions, not only go forward 2.5", they also are out about 2.5". Great clearance for both the rider, and the passenger. :)

Sorry if it's already been posted, but how much are Tony's and what is the contact info to get them?

Not at all. :) Tony has them on eBay; either alone for $150, or with the muffler lowering bracket, for $165, I believe. Here are links to his auctions...

I went ahead and bought the package with the muffler lowering bracket. But, it doesn't appear I'll need it. The clearance with the Hindle is about 2.5". The N-R bags need 1" between them and the muffler. With the stock exhaust w/bags, the lowering bracket might be needed.

And, although my wife has not gotten on the Spyder since, I installed the extensions, I think her foot will be well clear of the Hindle, anyway. We will see. I can always install the lowering bracket, if need be.

I bought Tony's rear extensions as well, my wife loves them
and I haven't had any problems with foot clearance.:2thumbs:
