Checking coolant a pain on 14 RTL

Anyone else have a problem checking coolant level? Tank is dark inside and impossible to see the level. Had to dip a pipe cleaner in and add slowly a few times but still a guess.

The fluid is somewhat clear and yes hard to see..

If you take a bright LED flashlight and light up the tank from behind you can check it pretty easily. Now getting the cap on and off is another chore.
