I am so lazy today. It was hard to get out of bed this morning, I can't stay focused at work. Might as well turn off the computer and go home.

Or stay at work, get paid and just listen to music.

My favorite bands from the seventies were Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Judas Priest and of course, BLACK SABBATH. Yes, I was a head banger.

A song by one of the top underrated bands in the history of rock and roll.

Can anyone name the different lead singers Deep Purple went through?

That is pretty bad right there John. If you're to tired to....... well, you know, I think it's time you get some rest.

Well I got listening to some Deep Purple and here is another good one by the Purple gang.

But there wasn't a weak one in the bunch!

So you were a banger?!?
How about B.O.C., or Nugent?

ON YOUR FEET OR ON YOUR KNEES!!!! Bob, I was born to be wild................... a big yes on the Cult. As for uncle Ted, I'm from Michigan and his footprint is all over this state. Of course I like Ted, and his music isn't bad either.

I've liked hard rock my whole life, the harder the better (to a point, gotta have some kind of flow, not a disjointed chaotic mess). I think it was my Christian upbringing that led me down this path.:roflblack:

Steppenwolf, Iron Butterfly, Slade, Foreigner, Thin Lizzy, RUSH, Uriah Heap, STYX, Captain Beyond, Grand Funk Railroad (another Michigan band), UFO, Black Sabbath, DP, Rainbow, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Montrose, OMG!!!! there are just to many to list them all. This is just scratching the surface. And all of this old music I own, and it's a lot, is all on vinyl. Yes I still spin a platter, nothing sounds better.

On that note I will leave you with this, chosen because I also have a softer side. For example, I love the British Blues, Cream, Savoy Brown, Led Zeppelin, Ten Years After..........
