I like the look of the new seat. Since that will probably be my next mod. I may have to check this one out.

I sent a comment on the roll away bag. If it was designed with an attachment to go around the brp back rest (like some sissy bar/back rest bags), the trunk would have still been free for storage. JMO

I guess I'll just purchase the large tourmaster sissy bar bag with the adjustable back rest attachment..

Looks like I know what we'll be bringing out next. :D

About time they came out with new stuff-----

I like the looks of the Givi bags and mounts - and if that price includes everything that is a pretty good price.

The billet footpegs for $300 is just NUTS.

Seat looks nice, but I'm leaning towards the Corbin so I can get a driver backrest.

BRP color matched bags and rack are $1,000. Silver Spyder owners can color match with Givi gloss silver which is dead on for about $250 less. Red and yellow Spyder owners may have to go with BRP line.

Finally see what BRP means by "console protector". Many of us thought it was some sort of shield for the instrument console, but apparently, BRP believes the gas tank hump is the console.

BRP listing says V35 cases hold two full face helmets (assume they mean one in each side). A full face HJC medium helmet slides right in, but a HJC large needs to be loaded in a very specific fashion or the case won't close. They will not take an XL size and I can't speak to any other make. Just a heads up for those with large heads.

I like the look of the seat. A lot less expensive than the Russell saddle and it might be nice til I can really afford the top of the line Russell.

Hey MagicMan... do you think your peg adaptors will work with the passenger peg extensions?

I was at my dealers last week. They had no idea any of these things were in the mill. I guess that means they certainly won't have any set up on a demo to try, like the seat. I like the seat too but want to sit on it if possible. Oh well:dontknow:

Not sure if BRP will sell the rack without the bags--- they don't seem to list that. It's my understanding that this rack system can be detached very quickly.

I'm sure now that the BRP touring shields are out that the F1 guy will start saying they stole his ideas - - LOL.

I just realized that the new windsheild is only sold as a kit (or system, maybe) with the side wind deflectors.

GRRRRRRR!

I waited all winter for this windsheild believing that with all BRP's excellant experience at providing hand wind protection on their snowmobiles, they would be able to get it right.

Now, after lots of cold weather testing on my :spyder:this winter, I find they have decided to sell it only with an add on I know is unnessecary, and for a price about $50-75 more than I anticipated!

Sometimes these guy's can frustrate even me, who has been a faithfull Bombardier user and customer for decades.

This will enable more accessories - lighting if I can go with the BRP stuff. So MM you can see why I am waiting for your answer to BRP.

Yesterday I talked with Evan & Patti @ NMN and rode off with a new CHAD.

I got fed up waiting for BRP and after seeing the CHAD on Smylinatcha's :spyder:decided it would do most of what I'm looking for. So, I'm sorry I can't offer you the wind deflectors as I will not be pursuing the BRP route at this time.

P.S.-The CHAD does have pretty good hand wind protection, about 80-90% of the wind is GONE from my hands and there is no problem with helmet buffeting. I really like the adjustability factor also.
