When I stop the bike, its in First, or Nuteral. I press on the Parking Brake switch - and it often take, like 15/20 seconds to come on. (Seems like a long time when all you want is to stop and get off the bike.) Then the reverse is true, when I turn on the key, press the switch, it often takes another 15/20 sec. to turn off. The question is ---- IS this normal??? Or should it be immediate.
Thanks.

It sounds like the cable that activates the mechanism is out of adjustment.

Ours take about 5 seconds for on/off.
