installed magicman's hid headlights yesterday ... and i have to say well worth the money ... the better half and me went out late last night to see how well they worked ... at first i said you know there are other mods i would rather spend my money on.... cuz i always think of vanity over comfort and safety ....but these light rock .... drove through some dark areas of new hampshire and mass just to see how bright they were ... night and day...or i should say night to day... at first i thought on coming drivers would be flashing there lights at me because they were being blinded but that wasnt the case at all didnt get one all night....the installation wasnt bad the factory bulb clips kind of tricky ... evan said i could get at them from behind instrument cluster i got them out no proble getting them back in i had to remove the tupperware off the top of the spyder ... but even that wasnt a big deal and did make it much easier to put them back in also could mount wiring better and cleaner with plastic off ...
my opinion well worth the money and spyder should come factory with these light because there will be no way someone won't see me coming now ...
and as always tech support through NMN was flawless ..
thanks again evan.....

I thought the stock Spyder lights were pretty good until I installed the NMN HID's in my Spyder. It made a huge difference for sure.

Like you I had a tuff time with the stock clip but I have big hands and that seemed to be most of my problem. :sour:

As I have tried to tell people over and over, you have to see these for yourself to really realize the true differance.

When I do it .... Imma gonna change both my fog and head lights over to NMN's HID at the same time. Why bother rewiring twice.

We stock ether 6000K or 8000K. The 8000K seems to be a the favorite though.

I too run 8000K in all my stuff ( both cars, all my Harley's, Spyder)

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between the NMN and BRP HID lights? Why is BRP's 10x the price of NMN?

About $900 some odd dollars?!? :D No one says BRP's packaging was cheap.

You have to remember that BRP had the market cornered and so they can charge those crazy a** prices. Now that after market products like NMN provide will eventually force BRP to restructure their prices. We all know that these upgrades don't cost that much to mass produce. Also remember that as long as people will pay the price they are asking they will continue to keep the price high.

I am pretty sure both lamonster and us have put up either pictures or videos of these headlights. Here is our thread with comparison videos of the NMN HIDs vs. upgraded bulbs. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5509

the answer to your question is that brp has to feed 30 or 40 people steak, and evan only has to feed 3 or 4 people hot-dogs and beans [ does that answer your question about price???????????????????????:2thumbs:

The NMN's HID are pretty awesome.
I think someone should do a Youtube video on those clips though as I had a heck of a time getting my hands in there to get them to clip on correctly! I still feel like at some point they may jostle loose? maybe not, but unlike the stock plugs where you know they screwed in correctly, you just have these metal things to try to wiggle in there, and to me it just seems like it might be ok? I probably should have taken all the plastic off also, just being lazy I guess, lol.

Oh, I did the triple play II lights from NMN also...way easier to install, and great mod, highly suggested.

I put NMN's HID set on last year and I feel it is hands down the best mod out there. Literally the difference is day and night. I feel much safer driving not only at night but also more visible in the day. If you are undecided about spending the money, do it. You will be glad you did.
