after many years, i no longer own a bike. the new owner picked it up today from the dealer, and i hope he or she has many happy miles and smiles with it.

John, I understand why you let go of your Spyder, but I am very sorry that you had to do it. But please, stick around here, we all need a good laugh from time to time, and you'e supplied us with many.

Well said.

I'm sorry you had to let it go, John. I hope you'll be back in the wind soon.

I am sure it is a bittersweet moment to see your ride in someone else's hands, but you know they will have many great memories with it like you have had! Thanks for sticking around to help us newbies.

Sad day to finally see her on her way to a new home. It does make it sooo final...But on the happy note that she will continue to give folks pleasure and be out there with all the others... You on the other hand will have to keep us smiling when we get off of ours and come here....:lecturef_smilie:

for me right now, it's all about the money. i am single and love all the good things in life. so i spend like i am rich. now i have drilled myself a hole that i am having a hard time climbing out of, so time to cut back. i took a beating on the bike, but this saves me the payment every month, the 1400.00 a year in insurance, plus the payment for the xm radio.
i have always wanted a Harley, but was never comfortable on them. i really like the VROD MUSCLE, and it has forward controls, so i like that. once i catch up a little, i might look for a used Harley vrod just to say i owned one. but until then i will just look at bikes passing me on the highway and dream a little
