If you are talking about. F3 2015 and RTS 2015 they are the same part number...the numbers will vary according to color or type...

Dumb question. What about the sprockets? Thought the F3 had the smaller sprocket.

F3 has a larger sprocket. Either sprocket will fit the wheel but you cannot put an F3 large sprocket on an RT or vise versa. Nanny will complain LOUDLY.

so my stock 15 rts sprocket will screw up the computer if used
with the silver F3 wheel ? thought they just bolted on.

Yep, my bad. Large sprocket = lower gear ratio.

If it bolts up, reusing your original sprocket and the new rim should be no problem and work fine. Make sure you use loc-tite on those sprocket bolts and torque to spec.

No! Your bike will be fine, and long as the sprocket is the correct one for the bike.

Your stock RTS sprocket will work fine with the F3 wheel on an RTS.

There are no bolts holding the sprocket on the wheel. Its a press fit in the rubber isolators and the axle bolt goes all the way through.

I am intimately familiar with the assembly of the rear axle, both older 2 piece and newer one piece versions. Having done multiple sets of rear bearings and a great many tire replacements and brake jobs.

The forward thrust is transferred from the sprocket to the wheel via the rubber damper blocks in between the metal webs of the two castings. The sprocket and wheel engage each other via a press fit.

Have no idea why you would think that. The new 2017 F3S allows all the burnouts your tire budget can afford. Same rear wheel assembly. The design is simply not a weak link and is there to absorb vibration from the belt and engine as the thrust is applied to the wheel where you would feel it. Its actually a pretty robust design.

:agree: If you look at the parts; you'll see that there's plenty of "meat" in them!

I am assuming you are wanting the 705502089 Metallic Silver Rear Rim. 6 spoke. That may come as standard on F3, RS, ST, RT, 2015 and later. The matching 79 tooth sprocket is 705502015 Silver Pulley Ass'y. 3 spoke.
