:agree: I'm surprised that Disney missed a gator of that size in their water...
Prayers going out to the family!:pray:

I don't understand why they have a beautiful looking sand beach that is an alligator infested no-swimming area!

Have you ever been to Disney?
Gators are pretty much everywhere, in Central Florida.
I've been a guest at the Resorts that line the Seven seas Lagoon over a dozen times, and the only thing that surprises me, is that none of their Staff ever saw a gator of this size.
They even have Fish & Wildlife personnel on that Lake...

I guess that this is one that just "slipped through the cracks"... :dontknow:

So sad. Just seen the news that they found the boy's body.

News also said flooding, and lagoons that connect to other lagoons and ponds make it impossible to know where one might or might not be. Find it interesting that there's "no swimming " signs, but no "beware of alligator" signs to be found. Although, I believe there are "don't feed the alligators" signs.

I see changes in Disney world's future.
