Unable to attend Americade, I went for a couple hour ride this morning. Now, I can't be 100% certain, but around 9:25am while heading west on Route 293 through West Point..I could have sworn the Black Bear that was standing on the side of the road, waved at me, as I rode by. Just happy he didn't decide to walk out into the road for a "high five". Or would it be a "high four"?

As long as he had a smile on his face just wave back and keep going... :roflblack: but scary for sure more like no wave and a short U turn and :ohyea:

No, lol...but in all seriousness, i believe he raised that paw just before he was going to attempt to cross the road. This was confirmed as i watched the Chevy Tahoe pass me in the oncoming lane and, while checking my rearview mirror watched as he applied his brakes. That bear just had to get to the other side...

This is another close encounter while fishing in 2014 up near Fort Montgomery...i guess i was in his "spot"..
